Lovely, reminds my of home back East during my past life of horses and hounds with the call to the hounds three days a week. Tally ho!
Oddly enough the large place down Cowperthwaite Road, to this day still dirt to allow for the horses, was owned by the Cowperthwaites. Don’t know about a connection to the painter but will have to check
